The ASRock DESKMEET B760W is an 8-litre barebone that accepts 12th, 13th and 14th generation Intel Core i7 processors in the LGA1700 socket. It targets builders who want a small-footprint system for daily computing, gaming or content creation without committing to a full-size tower. The chassis can stand vertically or horizontally to suit the available desk space.
This platform replaces proprietary small-form-factor boxes that restrict CPU choice and memory capacity. The jump is worth it when you need four DDR4 DIMM slots supporting up to 128 GB at 3200 MHz, a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for a graphics card up to 20 cm long, and two M.2 2280 sockets with one wired for PCIe 4.0 x4. It also adds three SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 support.
Installation follows standard barebone steps: seat the CPU, snap in up to four DDR4 modules, mount the graphics card and secure M.2 drives. The main constraint is the 54 mm CPU cooler clearance, so only low-profile coolers fit. Builders who need a taller tower cooler or a graphics card longer than 20 cm cannot use this chassis.
