The CyberPower PDU44007 is a switched automatic transfer switch power distribution unit built for 2U rackmount installations. It accepts dual 240–200 VAC feeds through two NEMA L6-30P plugs and delivers power through sixteen C13, two C19 and one L6-30R outlets. The unit is designed for data-centre and server-room environments that require redundant input sources and remote outlet control.

Replaces basic PDUs without transfer switching

This unit upgrades installations that rely on a single power feed or on non-switched distribution strips. The automatic transfer switch moves the load to the secondary source within milliseconds when the primary feed fails, while switchable outlets let administrators reboot individual devices remotely. The jump is worth it when uptime demands redundant inputs and when outlet-level power cycling reduces physical site visits.

Sustained load behaviour in 45 °C ambient

Dual 20 A branch breakers protect the outlet groups during continuous operation at the 24 A derated input rating. The selectable colour LCD reports real-time current, voltage and power factor per phase, and firmware upgrades can be applied without removing the unit from the rack. Operating temperature is rated up to 45 °C with non-condensing humidity to 95 %, so thermal headroom remains predictable under prolonged full-load conditions.
