The Dell PowerEdge T630 arrives in an 18-bay 3.5-inch rack-mount chassis with two Intel Xeon E5-2699 v4 processors installed. Each CPU runs at 2.2 GHz and provides 22 cores with 55 MB of cache. The system includes 32 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory configured as two 16 GB modules.

Storage interface and expansion limits

The PERC H730 SAS controller manages up to 18 SATA or SAS drives in the front bays; no drives are installed from the factory. Maximum supported memory reaches 1.5 TB across the available DIMM slots. Dual 1100 W power supplies and a 1 GbE two-port 332T network adapter are fitted, while iDRAC8 Enterprise enables remote management.
