The Dell Precision 5530 is a 15.6 inch mobile workstation built for professionals who need certified graphics and a high-resolution touchscreen in a thin chassis. It ships new with Windows 10 Pro, 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 drive. The six-core Intel Core i9-8950HK processor reaches 4.80 GHz with Turbo Boost, while the NVIDIA Quadro P2000 provides 4 GB GDDR5 video memory for ISV-certified applications.

32 GB memory and 1 TB NVMe storage

The 32 GB DDR4 configuration handles large assemblies, multi-layer timelines and virtual machines without paging to disk. The 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD keeps project files and scratch disks local, so read-heavy workloads stay responsive. Memory is not user-expandable beyond the factory 32 GB, and the single M.2 slot means total capacity stops at 1 TB unless data is moved to external Thunderbolt storage.
