Five USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports for desktop expansion

This PCIe x1 add-in card adds three USB-A and two USB-C ports to a desktop computer. It is intended for users who need more high-speed ports for peripherals such as external drives, webcams, printers, or VR headsets. The card fits any available x1, x4, x8, or x16 PCI Express slot. A full-profile bracket and mounting screws are included for standard case installation.

Single-lane PCI Express host interface

The card connects through a single PCIe lane, limiting total shared bandwidth to the Gen 1 5 Gbps specification across all five ports. It draws power directly from the slot and requires no auxiliary power connector. Driver installation is necessary for Windows XP, Vista, and 7, while Windows 10 and Mac OS 10.8.2 or later support plug-and-play operation.

Frees front-panel ports and avoids hub bottlenecks

By providing native PCIe-attached ports, the card removes the need for external hubs that share a single upstream connection. It works with PCIe 2.0 and 3.0 motherboards and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. It is not suited for builders who require internal headers or more than five additional ports.
