PCIe USB 3.2 Type-C Card
The ESTONE PCIE24C adds four external USB Type-C ports to a desktop through a PCI Express x4 slot. It targets builders who need more high-speed ports for external storage or peripherals. The card uses an ASM3142 controller and fits x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots. It does not serve buyers who require DisplayPort Alt Mode or USB Power Delivery negotiation.
Driver CD and SATA Power Option
A driver CD is included for Windows 7 and XP systems; Windows 8 and later, macOS 10.8.2 and above, and Linux typically load drivers automatically. An optional SATA power connector can supply up to 15 W per Type-C port when motherboard power is insufficient. The bundled screws secure the bracket to the case.
Installation Notes
The card draws slot power by default, so no extra cable is mandatory unless port current exceeds the slot budget. Common issues arise on PCIe 1.0 platforms, which are not supported, and on Windows 7 or XP where the CD driver must be installed manually.
