64 GB DDR4 capacity and mixed storage headroom
Four DDR4 DIMM slots support up to 64 GB of system memory. Storage expansion uses two M.2 interfaces, three SATA Express interfaces and six SATA III ports. The M.2 and SATA Express lanes share bandwidth with the primary PCI Express x16 slot, so populating every drive interface can reduce the graphics slot to x8 electrical speed.
Dual LAN and premium audio for a complete build
Networking combines an Intel GbE controller and a Killer E2400 controller, each rated at 10/100/1000 Mbit, though teaming is not supported. Audio relies on a Creative Sound Core 3D chip with a TI Burr Brown OPA2134 amplifier driving 2/5.1-channel output and S/PDIF. Rear USB provides 1.5 USB 3.0/2 ports and 2.4 USB 2.0/1 ports, while internal headers add 3.4 USB 3.0/2 ports via a Renesas hub.
