M.2 NVMe and SATA Enclosure

The HANNORD enclosure connects M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs to a host device through a USB 3.1 Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support. It accepts drive lengths of 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110 and works with M key as well as B+M key modules. The black plastic housing requires no tools for drive installation and includes both USB-A and USB-C cables for immediate use.

Suits portable data access.

This adapter is built for users who need to read or write NVMe and SATA M.2 drives across Windows, macOS, Linux and Android devices such as laptops, phones, tablets and smart TVs. It does not support M.2 SATA AHCI B-key SSDs and cannot accommodate drives fitted with heatsinks. Buyers who require those specific drive types should look at a different enclosure.

10 Gbps peak throughput via USB 3.1 Gen 2

With an NVMe SSD the enclosure reaches up to 10 Gbps, while SATA SSDs operate at 6 Gbps over the same USB 3.1 Gen 2 connection. Thunderbolt 3 compatibility provides an additional high-speed pathway for supported hosts. Drive temperatures can exceed 60°C during sustained transfers, so direct contact should be avoided.
