The HPE DL360 Gen9 4LFF server arrives new with two Intel Xeon E5-2680v4 processors running at 2.4 GHz, each delivering 14 cores and 35 MB cache. 512 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory is installed across the DIMM slots, leaving headroom up to the 768 GB maximum. An HPE Smart Array P440 SAS controller manages up to four 3.5-inch SATA drive bays, while dual 500 W flex-slot power supplies and HPE iLO Advanced remote management are fitted as standard.

Suited for memory-heavy workloads

This configuration targets virtualisation hosts, database nodes and compute clusters that benefit from high core counts and large DDR4 capacity. The four-bay LFF chassis limits internal storage density, so buyers who need many drives or all-flash arrays should consider a different chassis. Workloads requiring dedicated GPU acceleration or more than two processor sockets are also outside the scope of this unit.
