5.25" to 3.5" bay adapter

The ICY DOCK MB343SPO converts a single 5.25 inch external bay into space for one 3.5 inch SATA drive and one 9.5 mm ultra-slim optical drive. A screw-less Smart-Tip locking mechanism secures the 3.5 inch device while a guiding system eases insertion. Snap-off dust covers keep both openings clean when not in use. A 6-pin Slimline to 15-pin SATA power cable is included.

For builders adding legacy storage

This bracket suits system integrators or enthusiasts who still use 3.5 inch hard drives or slim optical drives in modern chassis with a free 5.25 inch bay. It is not for builders who only have 3.5 inch internal bays available or who need to install 2.5 inch drives without a separate adapter. It also cannot serve cases that lack a 5.25 inch half-height opening.
