The Jansicotek SA28 connects 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA or IDE hard drives and optical drives to a USB 3.0 port. It supports drives up to 10 TB and allows three drives to operate simultaneously. The kit includes a 12V 2A power adapter and a 4-pin power cable for 3.5 inch IDE devices. It is built for data recovery, duplication and backup tasks.

Sustained Transfer Behaviour

USB 3.0 provides data rates up to 5 Gbps and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. The adapter supports hot swapping so drives can be changed without a reboot. An automatic sleep mode activates after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve power during long copy sessions. Driver-free operation works on Windows XP through 10 and Mac OS.
