The Matrix MPS-1800S-30-60 is a new programmable DC power supply built for bench and laboratory work. It delivers adjustable output up to 30 volts and 60 amps with a maximum of 1800 watts. The single specification that decides fit is the combined output envelope of 30 volts, 60 amps and 1800 watts. If a test setup requires higher voltage, higher current or more power than these limits, this unit will not meet the requirement. The supply accepts single-phase AC 220 V ±10 % at 50 Hz and provides remote voltage compensation for accuracy at the load.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The switching design with PWM modulation and high-gain amplification runs at full load continuously thanks to imported key components. Protective functions include over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and short-circuit protection that shut down the output before components overheat. A key-lock feature prevents accidental changes during long runs. Communication interfaces are RS-232 and RS-485 for automated control.
