Dell Precision 5820 ECC RDIMM kit

This 64 GB kit contains four 16 GB DDR4-2933 registered DIMMs built for the Dell Precision 5820 tower workstation. ECC and registered buffering protect data integrity in professional workloads. The modules run at 1.2 V with CL21 latency and use major OEM DRAM from Samsung, Micron or Hynix. No heat spreaders are fitted.

Thermals noise and power at 1.2 V

Operating at the standard DDR4 voltage of 1.2 V keeps power draw low and reduces heat output in the Precision 5820 chassis. Registered buffering adds minimal electrical load while the absence of spreaders allows direct airflow over the DRAM. The workstation’s stock cooling handles the thermal load without extra fan speed or audible noise increase.

The box delivers four matched 288-pin RDIMMs totalling 64 GB, labelled with part number MR23400-628K4 for easy verification. Each module is stress-tested under load before shipping to confirm stability in the target system. The kit is designed exclusively for the Dell Precision 5820 and is not suited for consumer motherboards or non-ECC platforms.
