2.5" SATA enclosure two-pack

This two-pack provides a pair of black plastic enclosures that turn 2.5 inch SATA hard drives or solid-state drives into external USB storage. Each unit accepts a single drive up to 6TB and fits 7mm or 9.5mm heights. No AC adapter is required, so power comes entirely from the USB connection. The enclosures suit users who want portable, tool-free access to bare SATA drives.

Sustained transfer with UASP and TRIM

The USB 3.0 interface runs at 5Gbps and supports UASP protocol to reduce command overhead during long copy or backup sessions. TRIM pass-through keeps SSD write performance consistent when the drive is used heavily over time. Without a fan, the plastic shell relies on passive heat dissipation, so extended maximum-speed transfers will be limited by thermal throttling of the drive itself.

Maximum 6TB per bay capacity limit

Each enclosure supports a single SATA drive no larger than 6TB, making that ceiling the deciding factor for buyers with higher-capacity drives. Drives exceeding 6TB will not be recognised, so users needing 8TB or larger must choose a different enclosure. The SATA I/II/III internal interface imposes no additional restriction within the 6TB limit.
