Orico M2PVM M.2 NVMe SATA enclosure

The Orico M2PVM is a portable single-bay enclosure that accepts M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths. It connects via a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C interface rated for 10 Gbps and supports UASP acceleration. The aluminium and plastic housing measures 108 mm by 29.5 mm by 13.5 mm and operates without a fan or external power adapter. It is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux systems.

Before ordering check your drive and host

Verify that your M.2 SSD uses either an M-key or B+M key layout, as the enclosure supports both NVMe PCIe and SATA protocols. Ensure your host device provides a USB-C or USB-A port capable of USB 3.1 Gen 2 speeds to reach the 10 Gbps ceiling. New drives must be partitioned and formatted before the enclosure can recognise them, and the file system must be supported by your operating system. The unit draws power entirely from the host port, so confirm the port can supply sufficient current for your chosen SSD.

Included cables thermal pad and fasteners

The package supplies a 2-in-1 cable combining USB-C to USB-C and USB-C to USB-A connections for broad host compatibility. A thermal pad is provided to conduct heat from the SSD to the aluminium shell, improving sustained performance during heavy transfers. Two rubber fasteners secure the drive inside the tool-free chassis without screws. No separate AC adapter, software utilities or mounting brackets are included.
