The part replaces Lenovo numbers 4X70P98203 and 7X77A01304. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers.

288-pin registered DIMM without heat spreader

The module uses a 288-pin DDR4 form factor and operates at 1.2V with CL19 latency. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the memory controller, allowing larger configurations in multi-socket Xeon systems. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow in the server chassis handles cooling. Mixing with unbuffered memory is not supported.
