PCIe 3.0 x4 interface limits

The NVMe 1.3 protocol runs over a PCIe 3.0 x4 link, capping theoretical throughput at the Gen 3 ceiling. Sequential reads reach up to 2200 MBps and writes up to 1600 MBps, so sustained workloads will not exceed those figures. Host Memory Buffer and SLC cache help maintain speed until the cache fills.

2TB capacity with headroom for heavy libraries
