This 2TB internal SSD fits M.2 2280 slots in laptops, desktops and small-form-factor systems. It uses TLC memory and a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface to accelerate boot-ups, application launches and file transfers. The drive is built for everyday consumer workloads and operates from 0°C to 70°C.
The NVMe 1.3 protocol runs over a PCIe 3.0 x4 link, capping theoretical throughput at the Gen 3 ceiling. Sequential reads reach up to 2200 MBps and writes up to 1600 MBps, so sustained workloads will not exceed those figures. Host Memory Buffer and SLC cache help maintain speed until the cache fills.
Two terabytes hold large game libraries, video projects and system images with room to spare. Write endurance is backed by a 2,000,000-hour MTBF and LDPC ECC protection. When the SLC cache is exhausted during very large sustained writes, performance drops to the native TLC rate.
