Six SATA III ports for desktop or server storage
This PCIe x4 add-in card adds six SATA III 6Gbps ports to a desktop computer or server using the ASM1166 controller. It supports SATA 3.2 and AHCI 1.4 specifications with backward compatibility. The card provides a combined total bandwidth up to 16Gbps and works with Windows 7 through 11, Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019, macOS 10.10 to 12 and Linux 2.6.32 and up.
Simple PCIe x4 installation with no RAID
The half-height card fits a standard PCIe 3.0 x4 slot and requires no built-in RAID configuration. It supports Port Multiplier and NCQ for efficient drive handling. SATA cables are sold separately so buyers must source them. Systems without a free x4 slot or with only smaller PCIe slots cannot use this card.
