24-Bay SAS/SATA Storage With MegaRAID 9361-8i
Twenty-four front-accessible 3.5-inch hot-swap bays accept SAS or SATA drives for high-capacity arrays. The included LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller provides eight ports of 12 Gb/s SAS connectivity with 1 GB cache and battery backup. Supported RAID levels span 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The controller port count limits simultaneous drive connections to eight without additional HBAs.
Tool-Less Drive Trays And Redundant Power
Drive trays slide into the front bays without tools and lock with a latch mechanism. Four 1620 W platinum redundant power supplies share the load and allow hot-swap replacement. IPMI 2.0 with a dedicated RJ45 port enables remote KVM-over-LAN and virtual media. Front bezel and rack rails are not included and must be sourced separately.
