Compact 1U rackmount NAS for edge

The Synology RS826RP+ is a 1U rackmount network-attached storage server powered by an AMD Ryzen V1500B quad-core processor running at 2.2 GHz. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 memory and four 16TB Synology Plus drives pre-installed for 64TB of raw capacity. The unit includes 3.2TB of enterprise cache on two 1.6TB SSDs. It is fully assembled and tested for immediate deployment in edge, branch or remote business environments.

Four 1GbE ports with Link Aggregation and one PCIe

Four RJ-45 ports provide 10/100/1000M connectivity and support Link Aggregation for bandwidth pooling, load balancing and automatic failover. A single PCIe Gen3 expansion slot accepts compatible 10GbE or 25GbE network adapters, an M.2 SSD adapter or a combined M.2 and 10GbE card. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports allow direct attachment of external storage or peripherals. An optional RX426 expansion unit adds four more bays for up to 192TB of raw storage with supported 24TB drives.

Hot-swap bays, cache SSDs and web-based management

Four hot-swappable drive bays accept 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and 2.5-inch SATA SSDs without powering down the system. The included 1.6TB cache SSDs accelerate read and write IOPS on the hard-drive array. Management is handled through a web-based interface with DHCP client support. Status LEDs show power, drive activity and link state for each 1GbE port. The server operates on 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz within a 0°C to 35°C range.
