Hot-swap sockets let you change feel without

Cherry MX Brown switches come installed, giving a tactile bump and silent travel at medium actuation force for mixed typing and gaming. The ALT High-Profile uses a USB-C connection for power and data, so an existing USB-C cable that meets the USB 2.0 or higher spec will work without an adapter.

Open the Drop configurator or any QMK-compatible tool; every key should light individually and a switch puller can remove a key to verify the socket accepts a new switch without soldering.
