The TAURKENAM ALT High-Profile keyboard uses a 65 percent form factor with 67 keys, keeping arrow keys and navigation cluster while saving desk width. It suits gamers who want mouse room and typists who still need dedicated arrows. Users who rely on a full number pad or dedicated function row will find those keys absent.

Hot-swap sockets let you change feel without

Cherry MX Brown switches come installed, giving a tactile bump and silent travel at medium actuation force for mixed typing and gaming. Hot-swappable sockets accept any MX-style switch so you can swap linear, tactile or clicky options in seconds. The board cannot accommodate optical or low-profile switches without a different PCB.

Anodized aluminum case adds mass

A tall CNC-machined aluminum frame covers the switches and nearly doubles the weight of the original ALT, keeping the board stable during rapid keystrokes. Will the USB-C cable from my older keyboard plug into this board and carry both power and data?

The ALT High-Profile uses a USB-C connection for power and data, so an existing USB-C cable that meets the USB 2.0 or higher spec will work without an adapter.

How can I confirm the per-key RGB lighting and hot-swap sockets are functioning after I plug it in?

Open the Drop configurator or any QMK-compatible tool; every key should light individually and a switch puller can remove a key to verify the socket accepts a new switch without soldering.

Does the box include keycaps, a switch puller and a USB-C cable, or do I need to buy any of those separately?

The keyboard ships with doubleshot PBT keycaps, Cherry MX Brown switches installed, a USB-C cable and a switch puller, so no extra purchases are required for basic use.
