Pacific MX1 Plus water block
The Thermaltake Pacific MX1 Plus is a CPU water block designed for custom liquid-cooling loops. It fits Intel sockets from LGA 775 through LGA 1700 and AMD sockets from AM2 through AM5. The block uses a nickel-plated copper base with dense micro fins to transfer heat from the processor into the coolant. Twelve addressable LEDs shine through a vacuum-metalised mirror top cover.
Upgrade from stock air coolers
Builders moving from factory air coolers or basic all-in-one units gain a component built for open-loop thermal capacity. The jump is worth it when the loop already includes a pump, reservoir and radiators sized for the target heat load. The integrated temperature sensor feeds real-time coolant data to TT RGB Plus software for lighting reactions tied to thermal conditions.
Fits standard G 1/4 loop fittings
The block accepts G 1/4 threads and draws 2.4 W at 5 V through a 4-pin Molex connector. A 9-pin USB 2.0 header links the onboard controller to the motherboard for software control. The 93.4 mm square footprint and 52.2 mm height require clearance around the socket keep-out zone. LGA 1700 mounting brackets are not included and must be sourced separately.
