The Tripp Lite SU2200XLCD is a 1960 VA, 1770 watt double-conversion UPS designed for servers, networking gear and sensitive electronics that require continuous, clean 120 V power. It accepts a wide input range from 100 V to 127 V and delivers regulated output at 100 V, 110 V, 120 V or 127 V without using battery capacity.
Thermals Noise and Power Draw
Double-conversion topology isolates connected loads from line noise, voltage distortion and frequency variation, supplying a pure sine wave at 50 or 60 Hz. The unit draws power through a NEMA 5-20P plug and provides surge protection rated at 570 joules plus data-line protection for one telephone or DSL line and one 10/100 Ethernet connection.
Upgrade Path and When It Is Worth It
This UPS replaces standby or line-interactive models when equipment cannot tolerate any transfer time or requires consistent voltage regulation across unstable utility feeds. It is not suited for installations that need longer runtime than 10.4 minutes at full load or 26.2 minutes at half load without adding external battery packs.
