Dual M.2 expansion for NVMe and SATA
The Vantec UGT-M2PC200 adds two M.2 slots to a desktop through a single PCIe x4 slot. One slot accepts an NVMe or AHCI drive with an M key, the other takes a SATA drive with a B key. It suits builders who want fast primary storage plus a secondary SATA drive without using extra motherboard connectors.
Primary slot runs at PCIe 3.0 x4
The first M.2 socket connects directly to the PCIe 3.0 or 2.0 x4 bus, giving NVMe drives full four-lane bandwidth. The second socket routes SATA signals to a motherboard SATA port, so that drive runs at standard SATA speeds. Both sockets accept 2242, 2260 or 2280 form factors.
Fits low-profile builds with included bracket
The card draws 3.3 V power from the PCIe slot and needs no extra cables for the NVMe drive. A SATA data cable to the motherboard is required for the second drive. Mounting screws and a low-profile bracket are supplied for small-form-factor cases.
