2.5 inch SAS SATA Drive Caddy

This Vszerda tray caddy accepts one 2.5 inch SAS or SATA hard drive or SSD. It is built for Dell PowerEdge servers from the 14th through 16th generations and compatible XC Series appliances. The metal bracket protects the drive and resists deformation during installation and removal. Four mounting screws are included for securing the drive inside the tray.

Fits 14th 15th 16th Gen PowerEdge

The caddy fits a wide range of rack and tower models including R440, R640, R740, R740xd, R840, R940, R650, R750, R750xs, R660, R760 and corresponding XC appliances. It also supports AMD based variants such as R6415, R7415, R7425, R6515, R7515, R7525, R6615, R7615 and R7625. Builders using servers outside these listed generations or non Dell platforms should verify compatibility before purchase.

The single decisive specification is the hardware interface which supports both SAS and SATA drives in a 2.5 inch form factor. If the target server bay requires a different drive interface or a 3.5 inch form factor this caddy will not work.
