172 mm AC axial fan for UPS and server cabinets

This 172 mm AC axial fan runs on 220 V mains power and draws 40/38 W. It uses a two-pin connector and a ball bearing for continuous duty in UPS units, inverters, server cabinets and DIY enclosures. The metal frame measures 172 by 38 mm and the blade diameter is 170 mm.

Replaces worn 170 mm AC fans in 220 V equipment

When an existing 170 mm AC fan becomes noisy or stops spinning, this unit fits the same 172 mm cut-out and two-pin wiring. The upgrade is worth it when the original bearing has failed or when airflow has dropped below the 176 to 211 CFM range needed for the enclosure.

Limited to fixed-speed AC operation on 220 V mains

The fan runs at a single 2700 to 3200 RPM speed with no PWM or voltage control. Noise stays between 52 and 56 dB(A) and cannot be reduced by the host system. It requires a 220 V AC supply and a two-pin socket; it will not work on DC headers or lower voltages.
