The ICY DOCK MB991IK-B is a full-metal mobile rack that fits one 2.5" SATA or SAS hard drive or SSD into a single 3.5" device bay. It supports SATA I, II and III as well as SAS 2.0, delivering transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s depending on the drive used. A two-segment key lock secures the drive and the tray uses a 15-pin direct connection for insertion and removal. The unit is designed for systems that need hot-swap capability in a rugged enclosure.

Suited for single-drive hot-swap in tight bays

This rack serves builders who need one removable 2.5" drive in a 3.5" bay, such as in medical, military, media-server, IPC, HTPC or all-in-one systems. It is not for users who require space for more than one drive in the same bay. It is not for installations that cannot accommodate a 3.25" bay opening.
