Single-Drive U.2 Mobile Rack

The LORDWORLD ToughArmor MB601VK-B fits one 2.5-inch U.2 NVMe SSD or 2.5-inch SAS and SATA SSD into any external 3.5-inch drive bay or floppy bay. It accepts drive heights of 5mm, 7mm, 9mm, 12.5mm and 15mm. The unit depth is 147mm.

Host Interface Limits

An NVMe U.2 host connection is required to run an NVMe SSD at up to 64Gb/s. SATA SSDs operate at 6Gb/s and SAS SSDs at 12Gb/s on a single channel. PCIe 3.0 and 4.0 hosts are supported, but the host determines the final protocol and speed.

Drive Height Compatibility

The rack accommodates 2.5-inch SSDs measuring 5mm, 7mm, 9mm, 12.5mm and 15mm tall. Drives outside this height range cannot be installed. Builders needing multiple drives or a different bay form factor should choose another solution.
