Installation Requires Matching LRDIMM Slots

Each 288-pin module installs in standard DDR4 DIMM slots, but the platform must support load-reduced registered DIMMs and 4Rx4 organisation. Mixing LRDIMMs with RDIMMs or UDIMMs will prevent boot. BIOS settings must reflect the registered and ECC configuration; otherwise the system will not recognise the full 128GB capacity.

DDR4 2933 Bandwidth and Rank Limits Define

The PC4-23400 interface caps peak transfer rate at the rated speed, and 4Rx4 density increases electrical load on the memory controller. Maximum usable capacity depends on the CPU memory-channel limit and the motherboard qualified-vendor list; exceeding either prevents the kit from operating at 2933MHz.
