Server Memory Kit for High-Density DDR4 Platforms

This 128GB kit uses two 64GB DDR4 2933 ECC LRDIMM modules built with major OEM Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips. It targets servers and workstations that require load-reduced registered memory at PC4-23400 speed. It is not for desktop PCs or consumer motherboards that only accept unbuffered UDIMMs.

Installation Requires Matching LRDIMM Slots

Each 288-pin module installs in standard DDR4 DIMM slots, but the platform must support load-reduced registered DIMMs and 4Rx4 organisation. Mixing LRDIMMs with RDIMMs or UDIMMs will prevent boot. BIOS settings must reflect the registered and ECC configuration; otherwise the system will not recognise the full 128GB capacity.

DDR4 2933 Bandwidth and Rank Limits Define

The PC4-23400 interface caps peak transfer rate at the rated speed, and 4Rx4 density increases electrical load on the memory controller. Maximum usable capacity depends on the CPU memory-channel limit and the motherboard qualified-vendor list; exceeding either prevents the kit from operating at 2933MHz.
