The SilverStone FHS80X is an 80 mm square case fan built to a 38 mm thick frame. Its giant-bladed rotor and dual ball bearing target industrial and high-static-pressure cooling scenarios where standard 25 mm fans cannot deliver enough airflow.
PWM control limited to 2 000–10 000 RPM range
Speed is governed exclusively by the motherboard PWM signal between 2 000 and 10 000 RPM. Systems without a PWM header or software that cannot issue a duty cycle below the minimum will not be able to run the fan slower or stop it completely.
38 mm frame thickness decides fit
