The Dell PowerEdge R730 is a 2U rack server built around two Intel Xeon E5-2630v3 processors, each running at 2.4GHz with eight cores. PERC H330 RAID controller

Redundant power and thermal design

Dual 750W hot-swap power supplies provide N+1 redundancy for continuous operation. The 2U form factor uses internal airflow channels to cool both CPUs, memory and drive bays under typical loads. A DVD-ROM drive is fitted as standard. Remote management is handled by iDRAC8 with Lifecycle Controller for out-of-band monitoring and firmware updates.
