Four USB-C ports via PCIe x4

The ESTONE PCIE24C adds four external USB Type-C ports to a desktop or server through a single PCI Express x4 slot. It uses an ASM3142 controller to deliver USB 3.2 transfer rates of up to 10Gbps. The card fits x4, x8 or x16 slots and works with Windows 7 through 11, macOS 10.8.2 and later, and Linux.

Sustained throughput with optional SATA power

Under continuous load the ASM3142 maintains 10Gbps signalling across all four ports when the host slot provides enough bandwidth. A SATA power connector is included to supply up to 5V 3A (15W) per Type-C port if motherboard power is insufficient, preventing throttling during large file transfers or video editing sessions.

Driver install required on older Windows

The card seats in any PCIe x4, x8 or x16 slot and secures with the supplied screws. Windows 8, 10, 11, macOS and Linux load drivers automatically; Windows 7 and XP need the driver from the included CD. No DP-Alt Mode or USB Power Delivery is supported, so monitors or high-power charging will not work.
