The Fractal Design Mood Black is a 20 L Small Form Factor enclosure that accepts a Mini ITX motherboard, a graphics card up to 325 mm long and a CPU cooler no taller than 110 mm. A 180 mm Dynamic X2 PWM fan comes pre-installed at the top and a PCIe 4.0 riser cable is included for vertical GPU mounting. The sliding textile wrap gives quick access to the interior while keeping a clean exterior.

Verify power supply length

The case takes an ATX power supply up to 130 mm long mounted at the top, so confirm your unit fits that limit. Only one 3.5" drive and two 2.5" drives can be installed; if you populate the 3.5" bay you cannot fit a side radiator. Front I/O provides one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and an audio jack, so check your motherboard headers match.

Large top fan and side radiator support handle

The included 180 mm fan moves air through the pillar chassis continuously, while the side panel accepts a 240 mm or 280 mm radiator for liquid-cooled CPUs and GPUs. With the 3.5" drive removed, a 280 mm radiator fits alongside two 140 mm or 120 mm side fans. A rear magnetic dust filter keeps intake surfaces clean during long sessions.
