The unit is built from stainless steel with an ABS front panel and includes a key lock for physical security.

SATA interface limits

The cage passes through SATA I, II and III signals at up to 6.0 Gb/s, so drive speed is capped by the SATA revision your drive and controller support. No protocol conversion or RAID logic is provided inside the cage. USB 3.0 ports are wired separately and do not share bandwidth with the SATA lanes.

Installation notes
