64MP Hawkeye Camera Module
The 64MP Hawkeye module adds a 64 megapixel Arducam sensor to any Raspberry Pi board with a MIPI CSI-2 connector. It captures still images at 9152 x 6944 resolution and works with Pi 5, 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B, A+, Zero, W and Zero WH running the libcamera stack on Bullseye. A pre-compiled program lets newcomers access the camera without writing code.
Sustained Autofocus and Zoom Behaviour
The built-in autofocus motor continuously adjusts focus from close-up to infinity, keeping subjects sharp during extended recording sessions. Up to 10x digital zoom is available without mechanical movement, so image quality degrades only by cropping rather than lens shift. Manual focus can be overridden through software when a fixed focal plane is preferred.
MIPI CSI-2 Interface Practical Limits
The module uses the standard MIPI CSI-2 ribbon interface common to all supported Pi boards, so no extra GPIO pins are consumed. Bandwidth is shared with any other CSI device, meaning only one camera can stream at full 64MP resolution at a time. Cable length and shielding affect signal integrity, so extensions beyond the supplied ribbon may reduce maximum frame rates.

Pytania dotyczące tego produktu
How much power does the 64MP Hawkeye camera draw when recording continuously all day?
The module draws power directly from the Raspberry Pi CSI-2 port; the Pi’s 5 V rail supplies both the sensor and the autofocus motor, so no separate power adapter is required.
Which Raspberry Pi boards and software does the 64MP Hawkeye need to function?
It connects via MIPI CSI-2 to any Pi 5, 4B, 3B+, 3B, 2B, A+, Zero, Zero W or Zero WH running Raspberry Pi OS Bullseye with the libcamera stack.
Will the 64MP Hawkeye work with my original Raspberry Pi Camera V1 mounting holes and enclosures?
Yes, the board shares the same footprint and mounting points as the official Camera Module 3, V2 and V1, so existing cases, tripod adapters and pan-tilt brackets fit without modification.
