Each port runs on its own host controller chipset, delivering a dedicated 5 Gbps channel instead of sharing a single bus. Total available bandwidth reaches 20 Gbps across all four ports simultaneously.

UASP and charging support

The card implements the USB Attached SCSI Protocol, which can perform up to 70 percent faster than conventional USB 3.0 bulk-only transport when used with a UASP-capable enclosure and a compatible operating system. USB Battery Charging Specification 1.2 in Apple mode allows charging of compatible Apple devices directly from the ports.

LP4 and SATA power input
