Dual-colour matte PLA for visual models

This 1.75 mm filament produces a matte surface with two colours co-extruded into a single strand, giving printed parts a layered colour effect without visible layer lines. It is aimed at makers creating decorative items, cosplay props, toys or display pieces where appearance matters more than mechanical strength. The spool holds 1 kg of material and is wound to avoid tangles during long prints.

Easy loading on common FDM printers

The filament feeds smoothly through direct-drive and Bowden extruders thanks to tight diameter tolerance and consistent roundness. Supports peel away cleanly, reducing post-processing time. The only common issue is ensuring the slicer temperature profile matches the matte formulation; running too hot can dull the finish or cause occasional stringing on fine details.

Check nozzle size and bed adhesion before ordering

A standard 0.4 mm nozzle works well, but smaller openings may clog if the dual-colour transition creates slight thickness variation. Verify that your print surface provides enough grip for the first layer; the matte surface can release from smooth PEI if the bed is not heated or prepared with adhesive. No enclosed chamber is required.
