A SATA 15-pin connector draws 12 V power directly from the power supply, reducing load on the motherboard. The hub includes a 16-inch PWM cable for motherboard connection.

Ten outputs with per-port capacitance

Ten 4-pin PWM connectors each have a dedicated capacitance to protect connected devices. Four-pin fans run at synchronised speeds under PWM control, while three-pin fans operate at full speed. The red header carries the only RPM signal back to the motherboard, so a PWM fan should be connected there first. Without that signal the hub runs at full speed and PWM control is lost.

Passive cooling with adhesive mounting
