This kit supplies 1TB of DDR4 server memory across eight 128GB load-reduced DIMMs running at 3200MHz with CL22 latency. It targets administrators upgrading workstations, servers or NAS systems that require registered ECC modules. The load-reduced design reduces electrical load on the memory controller for high-density configurations. Standard desktop motherboards cannot use this memory.

Installation notes and common issues

Modules install into 288-pin DDR4 slots like ordinary DIMMs but the system must support load-reduced ECC registered memory. Mixing these LRDIMMs with unbuffered or standard registered DIMMs will prevent boot or cause instability. All eight sticks should populate matching channels per the platform's population rules. Backward compatibility covers 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz and 2933MHz speeds if the platform cannot run 3200MHz.

Confirm the motherboard or server documentation explicitly lists support for DDR4 288-pin ECC load-reduced DIMMs at 4Rx4 rank. Verify the maximum supported capacity per slot and total system capacity reach 1TB. Ensure the BIOS or firmware is current enough to recognise 128GB density modules. Check that the platform voltage is 1.2V and that the memory controller accepts PC4-25600 speeds or one of the listed lower speeds.
