Targeted server upgrade

This kit provides 32GB of DDR3L ECC registered memory in a matched pair of 16GB modules. It is built for Supermicro A+ Server 2122TC and 2122TG systems that require registered DIMMs with error correction. The modules will not work in standard desktop boards or alongside unbuffered memory.

Build integration

Each module uses the 240-pin DDR3L form factor and operates at 1.35V, reducing power draw compared to standard DDR3. The registered design places a buffer on the command bus, allowing the memory controller to drive larger capacities per channel. No heat spreader is fitted, so airflow across the slots must be maintained by the server chassis.

Thermals and power

At 1.35V the kit runs cooler than 1.5V DDR3, helping dense server configurations stay within thermal limits. The absence of a spreader means module temperature follows case airflow directly; adequate front-to-rear cooling is expected. Power consumption scales with the 1600MHz data rate and CL11 latency under typical workloads.
