Single-port 2.5Gbps PoE+ adapter
The STARTECH ST1000PEXPSE is a PCI Express x1 network card that adds a single RJ45 port with 2.5GBASE-T connectivity and Power over Ethernet Plus sourcing capability. It draws auxiliary power from an internal SATA or SP4 connector to deliver up to 30 W to attached devices. The card supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at standards for compatible powered devices.
Installers powering access points or cameras
This card suits administrators who need to supply both data and power to a single PoE device such as a wireless access point, IP camera or RFID reader over existing CAT5e or better cabling. Low-profile bracket and management features
A full-height and a low-profile bracket are included so the card fits standard and slim chassis alike. The on-board Realtek RTL8125B controller provides Wake-on-LAN, RealWoW remote wake, 16K jumbo frames, VLAN tagging and PXE boot support. Link and PoE status LEDs give immediate visual confirmation of connection and power delivery state.
