Suitable For Dell PowerEdge Servers Only

This module suits administrators expanding memory in the listed Dell PowerEdge R430, R530, R630, R730, R730xd, R830 or R930 servers. It is not for desktop or laptop systems that require non-ECC unbuffered memory. It also does not fit servers that accept only registered DIMMs or that cannot support load-reduced quad-rank modules.

4Rx4 Load-Reduced Quad-Rank Design

The single specification that decides compatibility is the 4Rx4 load-reduced ECC design. Dell PowerEdge 13th Generation servers must support LRDIMM quad-rank modules to use this part.
