The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 280 is a 280 mm all-in-one liquid cooler built for AMD Socket AM5 and Intel LGA1851 or LGA1700 processors. It uses a copper cold plate with an integrated VRM fan and ships with two 140 mm P14 Pro fans mounted on a copper radiator. The pump runs at 2500 rpm and delivers 110 cubic feet per minute of flow.

Check socket, radiator space and header count

Verify that your motherboard uses AM5, LGA1851 or LGA1700 and that the case can fit a 280 mm radiator with two 140 mm fans. The block measures 12.4 by 5.4 by 1.5 inches, so confirm clearance around the CPU socket and memory slots. You will need one 4-pin PWM header for the pump and VRM fan plus one 4-pin header or splitter for the two radiator fans.

Pump noise 0.08 sones at 2500 rpm

In normal operation the pump and each fan spin at 2500 rpm while producing only 0.08 sones of noise. The integrated VRM fan is PWM-controlled and runs only when the voltage regulators need extra airflow. Tubing sleeves hide the fan cables so a single visible lead reaches the motherboard, keeping airflow paths clean and acoustic signature low.
