The Cherry MX3.0S is a wired mechanical keyboard built around original German Cherry MX Red switches rated for 50 million keystrokes. Its 108-key layout includes a dedicated numeric keypad and suits both gaming sessions and office work on Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista or XP. An IP32 rating protects the internals from everyday spills and dust.

Aluminum Case and USB-C Wired Link

A 1.5 mm thick one-piece aluminum alloy case combines with ten-level silicone anti-slip feet to minimise wobble during rapid input. The keyboard connects through a USB-C cable and runs at a 1000 Hz polling rate with 1 ms input latency, removing wireless variability for competitive play. No battery or receiver is required, so desk space stays clear for mouse movement.

Cherry Utility Software and On-Board Profiles

The companion Cherry Utility software lets you remap keys, record macros and choose from 16.8 million RGB colours per key. Up to four custom profiles are stored in on-board memory, so lighting and macro setups travel with the keyboard without reinstalling software on another machine.

CHERRY MX Red Switch Feel

Linear MX Red switches deliver 45 g actuation force across a 2.0 mm travel distance, giving consistent feedback without a tactile bump. This profile favours rapid double-taps and long typing stints alike. Users who prefer a pronounced click or a heavier spring weight will need a different switch variant, as this model ships only with Red switches.
