Full-Tower NAS Chassis

The Corn Electronics KM7B is a full-tower case built for storage-heavy builds such as NAS servers or local media libraries. It accepts Micro-ATX, ATX and E-ATX motherboards and provides thirteen hard-drive bays plus two SSD positions. A magnetic front panel simplifies access to the drive cages. No power supply is included.

Sustained Thermal Behaviour

Front mounts accept three 120 mm or 140 mm fans, the top takes three 120 mm or two 140 mm fans and the rear fits one 120 mm or 140 mm fan. Liquid-cooling support covers 360 mm and 280 mm radiators. The steel, aluminium and ABS construction helps dissipate heat during long file-transfer or parity-check sessions.

Drive-Count Decider

Thirteen 3.5-inch bays are the specification that determines suitability; systems needing fewer drives will leave capacity unused while larger arrays require external enclosures. GPU length is limited to 417 mm without the cages or 280 mm with them installed. CPU cooler height maxes out at 180 mm.
