PCIe sound card for desktop upgrade

The Creative Sound Blaster Audigy FX V2 installs into an available PCIe slot to replace onboard audio. It supports 5.1 channel surround output and 24-bit 192 kHz playback for clearer music, movies and games. The card is designed for Windows 10 and Windows 11 on systems with an Intel Core i3 or AMD equivalent processor and at least 4 GB of RAM.

120 dB signal-to-noise ratio

The 120 dB SNR provides a quiet noise floor for critical listening, while the built-in amplifier powers studio-grade headphones up to 600 ohms. Software control via the Creative app adds EQ and acoustic effects. An optional daughterboard can expand discrete output to 7.1 channels and add DSD256 playback plus an optical output.

Half-height form factor

The main board measures 117.4 x 121 x 21.6 mm and weighs 57 g, while the included half-height bracket is 80 x 21.6 mm and 12 g. A full-height bracket comes pre-mounted, so the card fits both low-profile and standard chassis without extra parts.
