The CyberPower OR1500LCDRTXL2U is a new line-interactive uninterruptible power supply rated at 1500VA and 1125W. It accepts 120V input through a NEMA 5-15P plug and provides eight NEMA 5-15R outlets. The unit fits a 2U rack space or stands as a tower and includes an LCD status display.

Suited for networking gear and non-PFC loads

This UPS protects switches, routers, workstations and home theatre equipment that do not use active PFC power supplies. Its automatic voltage regulation corrects brownouts and overvoltages without switching to battery. Buyers needing longer runtime at full load or output voltages other than 120Vac should look at other models.

18-minute half-load runtime decides fit

At half load the internal sealed lead-acid batteries deliver 18 minutes of backup power, dropping to 7 minutes at full load. Recharge takes eight hours. If your critical shutdown window exceeds these figures, this unit will not meet the requirement.
